The 63401 Cinema Society's first film screening will be the 1943 romantic comedy "The More the Merrier", which was directed by George Stevens and co-starred Joel McCrea and Jean Arthur. Because of the World War II housing shortage in Washington, D.C., two men find themselves sharing a young lady's apartment, making for plenty of mischief, arguing, and - eventually - fun. It's not a well-known movie, but it deserves its time in the spotlight, so it's getting it on Saturday, March 18 at the Hannibal Arts Council at 7:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the public, light refreshments will be provided, and there will be an introduction before the screening. Please join us!
