Summer is the perfect time to take a walk along Bear Creek Trail and celebrate the longest day of the year. “Summer Solstice Sojourn” family nature program is 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Bear Creek trail, starting at the Sodalis Nature Preserve parking lot. Gale Rublee, Hannibal Parks & Recreation nature educator, said the walk will be on a mostly shaded paved trail from the Sodalis parking lot to Patchen Street.
