Special Olympics teams will play in between games. The Hannibal High School varsity girls play Palmyra at 6 p.m., with the boys varsity team playing at 7:30 p.m. Special Olympics teams will play in between games. Signup for the Feb. 27 Polar Plunge will be available. Members of the three Special Olympics teams will scrimmage and members of the two skills teams will showcase their basketball skills. Hannibal Parks & Recreation and Missouri Special Olympics officials will hand out Polar Plunge t-shirts and souvenirs. The Hannibal Polar Plunge is the only Polar Plunge in Missouri that takes place in the Mississippi River. Each plunger receives an official Polar Plunge sweatshirt.
