Partners 4 kids in Care Program/Quarter Madness
Name:
Partners 4 kids in Care Program/Quarter Madness
Date:
November 17, 2016
Time:
6:30 PM - 9:30 PM CST
Event Description:
Please plan to join White Oak Counseling and Access to Healing and Wellness as they partner with Quarter Madness to raise funds for local children and families through the Partners 4 Kids in Care Program.
Hannibal Quarter Madness has been helping non-profit organizations with a monthly event for 4 years. November's Quarter Madness will benefit Partners 4 Kids in Care. Bring your quarters and friends for a fun night out to help this local program.
This fundraiser will help fill the gaps in services and Christmas for kids in care. There's a lot on the mind of a child in alternative care during the holidays. Many aren't with their biological family. Some younger kids worry about Santa finding them and if they are getting presents, or even how to receive presents. Some kids have never had a normal Christmas before or have been taught about what Christmas really means. "Without help from organizations and business such as the Hannibal Quarter Madness, we would not be able to provide specialized programs and services to children and families in need," said Carrie Danner, White Oak Counseling Owner and Access/Partners Vice-President.
