Hannibal Parks & Recreation will host Movies in the Park July 14 at Huckleberry Park with a showing of “Sing.” The movie is scheduled to begin around 8:30 p.m. or when it is dark. There is no admission charge. Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring blankets. Before the movie, there will be a performance from the YETI (Youth Education Theater Initiative) troupe. Hannibal’s Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher will introduce the movie. The concession stand at the Ramp Park will be open before the movie. "Sing" is set in a world entirely inhabited by animals, stars Buster Moon, a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times.
