Hot Air Balloon Festival Coming to Hannibal!
Event Description:
Come out on Saturday evening to see a launch followed by the "balloon glow" as the balloons are lit up on the ground after dark. You can even ride in a tethered balloon. Watch the skies on Sunday morning for the hot air balloon launch during the first two hours after sunrise!

Mark Twain fans may recall that Tom, Huck, and Jim shared a hot air balloon adventure in Tom Sawyer Abroad, which was published 125 years ago! Here's your chance to see what all the excitement is about!

The Balloon Festival will be held on the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange University @ 2800 Palmyra Road, Hannibal MO.

HLGU Parking Lot opens at 5:30 PM
Food Booths are open from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Ride Tethered Balloons from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Balloon Launch at 6:45 PM
Enjoy the Balloon Glow at 8:15 PM  
Sunrise Balloon Launch at 6:30 AM on Sunday Morning

Fees/Admission:
The event is free and open to the public, although the tethered balloon rides are $15 a person.
