Name: Harvest Hootenanny Festival
Date: September 21, 2019
Event Description:
The Rotary Club of Hannibal’s Harvest Hootenanny Festival is a family-friendly fall festival held at the Mark Twain Cave Complex in Hannibal, Missouri. Key events include live music, beer tasting, pumpkin decorating contest, petting zoo and pony rides, pie eating contest and rock climbing wall adventure. There are also several food vendors and retail vendors. All of the money raised at Hootenanny goes back into the community through Rotary’s Community Action grants and major project grants. Through these grants, we have funded a special needs classroom at Hannibal Middle School, a van for Douglass Community Services to deliver their meals for the summer and after school feeding programs, and made contributions to hundreds of other causes and efforts in our community and region.
