Preferred Family Healthcare (Prevention) and Hannibal Parks & Recreation are sponsoring a Game Night at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. As part of the April Out & About events, the Game Night for 19-29-year-old men and women will be 5:30-7 p.m. April 14 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. The event is free and all materials are provided. Games, basketball, pickleball and other activities will be offered. Refreshments and prizes will be available for participants. The Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success (PFS) grant was awarded to Preferred Family Healthcare in the fall of 2020 from the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) to address substance use prevention among youth and young adults. The goal of the Prevention Department is to reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug use among youth and adults within communities served.
