Bird watchers have to get up early for the best opportunities to see and hear the most species. There will be a Bird Walk at Sodalis Nature Preserve at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 27 called Early Bird Catches the Worm. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars. Participants should meet at the new Sodalis Shelter on Ely Street. The walk will be on paved, flat trail and will be a little more than an hour. The Bird Walk will be led by members of the Mississippi Hills Master Naturalist chapter. The program is free and open to the public but participation is limited.
