University of Missouri Extension, in partnership with Missouri Foundation for Health, and The Mission Center L3C, will be hosting a series of Affordable Care Act (ACA) and SHOP Marketplace Trainings for agents and brokers around the state in September and October. The workshop curriculum has been approved by the Missouri Department of Insurance and all agents and brokers who attend will receive three (3) CEU credits at no charge. Workshop topics include: - Basics of the Affordable Care Act Law - How to Help Individual and Family Consumers Navigate the Marketplace - Employer-Sponsored Health Insurance Under the ACA - Accessing and Using the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) - Next Steps for Agents and Brokers ? A Guide to Marketplace Certification and Training Trainings are scheduled in the Kirksville area for Monday, September 14 from 10:30AM to 2:30PM and in Hannibal on Monday, October 18 from 10:30AM to 2:30PM.
